Secret Coast welcomes you to come and stay in the very best locations on the beautiful coastline of Northumberland.
Our aim is to create a unique holiday experience for the first time visitor by selecting properties that offer something far greater, far more personalised and more guest focused than what we see on a first hand basis.
Our main advantage is that all of our Northumberland holiday cottages will be within 100 metres of one of Northumberland's amazing beaches or will have an amazing sea view.
We will be utilising our vast knowledge of the local area and coupled with our first hand experience of guest service, we will be ensuring that each holiday cottage will be equipped with what is needed for an amazing holiday .
We offer in each private holiday home the chance to have a delivery before you arrive of the best of local produce for your holiday stay. We will also have an extensive wine list for you to choose from which will be based on experience from four of the best on trade suppliers.
Our knowledge of the best local suppliers is vast and we will only source from the best of these. Meat can be supplied by Monkridge Hill Farm, a great British Menu supplier, using organic methods, seafood from local suppliers such as Robson's of Craster who smoke the famous Craster kippers, smoked haddock and fresh scallops can be supplied. A box of vegetables, bread and cheese can also be delivered for the week from a great local vegetable supplier and given enough notice a delivery of fresh lobster and crab can be delivered. My family have owned a very special beach hut on the sand dunes of Newton by the Sea for the last thirty years and I have also ran a very successful award winning restaurant within the area. I have grown up with people who have let or owned Northumberland holiday cottages and have friends who have holidayed in the area.
My personal aim is to bring attention to detail and include high standards found in nice hotels, ie great bed linens and pillows, luxury fabrics and décor. On occasion the property may seem quite simple but I believe it will be simple with style and unique through location and really reflect what the area has to offer.
